Today, Tracy and I took Seth and Andrew to Chuck E. Cheese's. We had planned on going to the Botanical Gardens but the high today was only suppose to be 55 degrees. Since I just got over a sore throat, we thought a change in plans would be in order.
I purposely did not tell Andrew we were going to CEC. It's his FAVORITE place and I knew he wouldn't stop talking about it if I did. He knew we were meeting Tracy and Seth and was really excited. We got there just as it was opening and were the only ones there for almost two hours. The boys had a BLAST!! Seth gave Andrew a hug when they first arrived while Andrew held the door open for them. After we purchased tokens, this was the senario: each boy would take a token then run off together, play a game then run back. When we asked for the tickets they get from the game, they would run to get them then run back. It went on like this for most of morning. They felt like big boys and Tracy and I got to talk and visit. NICE!! Andrew and Seth are the best of friends. I had hoped they would be, especially since their birthdays are only four days apart.
One of the great things about today was we only spent $15 for 100 token which we split. I brought our CEC souvenir cups so drinks were free. We ate when we got home. It also got us out of the damp cold weather. Couldn't ask for better morning.
Andrew is so tired from all the playing and running around that he fell right asleep once I got him down for a nap.
I have some pictures that were taken at CEC but my scanner isn't working right now. I guess I'll have to try to post them later.
