The Lord is my light and my salvation—
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?

Life with Lily - Book One Book Review

The Adventures of Lily Lapp
Book One

SUMMARY:  Every day is a new adventure!
On a small Amish farm in upstate New York, young Lily Lapp has plenty to do and plenty of people to love.  But changes are coming - including a new baby brother, a new teacher at school, and new ways of looking at the world.  Lily's growing up Amish, and there's always a lot to learn - if only Lily can stay out of trouble!

REVIEW:  This is an awesome book!!  I asked my eleven-year-old daughter to read it and get her thoughts.  She loved it too and is looking forward to more.  The stories remind both of us of a modern-day Laura Ingalls Wilder in Amish clothing and lifestyle.  Lily is an exciting six-year-old who looks at the world with wide-eyed wonder.  She struggles with friends, school and little brothers, but loves her family, her doll Sally and her home.  This is a book I think would be interesting to both boys and girls.
If you would like more information about Lily, her family and friends, you can go to her website at www.adventuresoflilylapp.com.  You can play games, download coloring pages from Lily's books, and send Lily and e-mail.
